The PCCM’s Biobanking Workshop & Symposium 2026 with Nucleome Informatics Pvt. Ltd as scientific partner is a unique 2.5-day academic programme designed to bring together clinicians, researchers, biobank managers, scientists, industry professionals, and policy makers involved in biobanking, genomics, and precision medicine.
The focus will be on the practical and operational aspects of establishing and managing high-quality biobanks, including biospecimen collection and processing, quality management, governance, ethics, regulatory frameworks, data management, and real-world biobanking workflows. Through expert lectures, interactive discussions, case studies, and practical demonstrations, participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of the principles and challenges of modern biobanking.
The program will also spotlight evolving fields of precision medicine, population genomics, and translational research. Led in partnership with Nucleome Informatics, the symposium will explore how biobanks and genomic data are transforming healthcare, enabling personalized medicine, advancing research, and shaping the future of disease prevention, diagnosis, and treatment.
The programme aims to build capacity, foster collaborations, and create a platform for knowledge exchange between academia, healthcare institutions, industry, and emerging biobanking initiatives across India and beyond.
